FRÉNÉSIES HAIR GROWTH PREVENTION RANGE

The main component in our creams is the Brazil nut. This nut is rich in selenium, which alongside other ingredients of the formula, penetrates the hair follicle and blocks action of proteins and amino acids. Proteins and amino acids perform an essential role in the hair-forming function of hair. In result, the follicle stops creating and growing new hair permanently.

Note that our creams work during the telogen phase of hair growth. Our hair grows at different stages. For this reason, it may take up to several treatment cycles before most of the hair stops growing. We recommend between 2-4 treatment cycles.

Our creams help reduce growth of unwanted hair with natural ingredients carefully chosen from various locations around the world.

The creams can be used as at-home treatments and not only help reduce hair growth, but also irritation and inflammation after epilation.

Our creams are mostly natural i.e. the main active ingredients are natural. In fact, 87% of the ingredients are natural, meaning that the product passes the 83% threshold required by EU regulations to be considered a natural cosmetic product.

Before you start, we ask that you don’t put any creams on your skin 24 hours prior to or during the treatment cycle.

First of all, you have to perform epilation in the desired area. By epilation we mean removing the hair from the root with methods such as hot waxing (NOT cold), laser, electrolysis and others. Keep in mind that the better the epilation, the better the effectiveness of our creams.

This is extremely important, as the cream needs to penetrate a clean follicle free of the hair (including the hair bulb). This means that during the treatment cycle, you shouldn’t use ANY other creams.

Apply the hair growth prevention cream within the 30 minutes of the epilation. Apply the cream in an even layer, gently, in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Let the cream dry for 30 minutes untouched. Remove excess cream with a dry towel/tissue.

Note that when removing excess cream, it is likely to roll into small balls.

After the 1st application, re-apply the cream for 4 days in a row. Do not use any other cream during this time. At the end of the 5th day you completed the treatment cycle. Repeat the full treatment 2-4 times (depending on hair type/thickness/density). Growth of hair can be reduced to around 75% after the 2nd treatment cycle.

The hair growth prevention cream treatment cycle lasts for 5 days. The first day is counted from the 1st time you apply the cream.

The average user will see around a 75% hair growth reduction after 2 treatment cycles.

The amount of times required to permanently stop unwanted hair growth varies from person to person. Each individual has a different physiology, so the overall reduction of unwanted hair, and the quantity of cycles it takes to achieve the desired results varies.

It is very important to remember that in order to achieve the best possible results, it is necessary to follow the instructions carefully. Any deviation from the instructions, particularly around how the cream penetrates the hair follicle, will affect the results of the treatment.

By epilation we mean removing the hair from the root. Our recommended epilation methods are hot waxing (NOT cold), laser and electrolysis. Keep in mind that the better the epilation, the better the effectiveness of our creams. The hair must be removed from the root (NOT broken)

In short, no. In order for it to work, the cream must enter the hair follicle. This means that the hair must be removed from the root, so that the canal which leads onto the follicle is open, allowing for the cream to be effective. To achieve best results we recommend using hot waxing (NOT cold). Please keep in mind that the better the epilation, the better the results of the treatment.

In short, no. We recommend that you do not exfoliate during the 5 day treatment cycle.

No, it is better not to use any other products during the treatment cycle. The cream also acts as a soothing and anti-inflammatory agent on the skin for the purpose of treating post-epilation discomfort. We recommend that users do not apply any other cream or powder to the skin in order to ensure that the cream can penetrate the hair follicle.

Yes, our creams work on all hair types and skin tones.

Yes, you can use our creams in the summer as they do not react to sunlight. Note that this might vary for your epilation method.

The results are noticeable after the 1st treatment cycle. You will notice that some will come out much paler and thinner. After the 2nd treatment cycle you can expect to see greater hair growth reduction of around 75%, while the remaining hair will look paler and weaker.

Since our hair does not have the same stages of growth, the more visible and better results come after several treatment cycles. We recommend between 2 and 4 treatment cycles, depending on area/hair thickness etc.

Our creams have been clinically trialled and endorsed in the EU, Latvia, by the Institute of Innovative Biomedical Technology.

In 3 separate trials, over 80% of all participants saw a 75% reduction in hair growth with the remaining hair being weaker and paler. The trials lasted for 60 days and included 2 treatment cycles.

After the 1st treatment cycle you can see your hair to appear weaker and paler.

After the 2nd treatment cycle you can expect around 75% reduction in hair growth, while the remaining hair will appear weaker and paler.

The effectiveness of results depends on quality of the epilation, correct usage of the creams and hair/skin types.
